Murray Armory Honored by UC+D Most Outstanding Projects Awards Competition
Originally built on the west side of Murray Park in 1949 by the Frederickson Building Company of Salt Lake, the facility was commissioned by the Utah National Guard to be used as a motor vehicle storage and maintenance garage. And now, with a connection to the Murray Arboretum and Murray Park, this facility represents a bold step forward in community placemaking, event space, and adaptive reuse.
ajc is grateful to Utah Construction & Design for the honor! We thank Murray City for a successful collaboration on this project and Paulsen Construction for bringing our design to life.
