Located within the boundaries of Rocky Mountain National Park, the Colorado River District (CRD) Barn and Tack Shed were lost to the East Troublesome wildfire in 2020. The Barn and Tack Shed served essential roles for the Trails and Packing programs located on the west side of the Rocky Mountain National Park, as both relied on the buildings for storage of tools and materials, as well as a housing facility for seasonal packing stock.
