We were honored to support Valley Behavioral Health at this year’s Rise Together Celebration — an annual gala dedicated to transforming the lives of over 14,000 Utahns each year. As Utah’s largest nonprofit mental health and substance use disorder provider, Valley leads with compassion, offering more than 40 programs delivered by 650+ dedicated professionals. Their work spans homelessness, addiction recovery, autism services, family reunification, and support for individuals of all ages — from children to adults 55+.
This year’s celebration shines a light on Saltair Affordable Housing, a visionary project made possible through the partnership of Valley Behavioral Health (Nonprofit), Giv Group (Owner Rep/Partner), and Wadman Construction (General Contractor), with design support and gala sponsorship by ajc architects. Among the notable honorees was Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, who was honored for Community Impact by Valley Behavioral Health leaders.
Saltair includes a 16-bed residential treatment facility on the main level and 68 supportive housing units above — each thoughtfully designed to balance access to care with the dignity of independent living. With private bedrooms, outdoor amenities, quiet rooms, a dog run, a shared kitchen, indoor/ outdoor recreation spaces, a roof terrace, and other vibrant community spaces, Saltair embodies the future of healing-centered housing.
