Project stakeholders and ajc recently attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Camp Colton’s phase I improvements, which includes site enhancements and a new lodge and welcome ramada designed by ajc.

Camp Colton, located outside of Flagstaff, AZ, cultivates interactive outdoor learning experiences for K-6 students that instills the value of preserving our natural world while
inspiring personal growth and discovery. Camp Colton’s mission and vision is supported by a partnership with non-profit, Friends of Camp Colton and Flagstaff Unified School District.

ajc and Denver-based DHM Design have been involved in an on-going planning and design effort to enhance the outdoor and environmental education programs at Camp Colton
since 2018.
