We are so proud of the ajc staff who participated in this year’s DesignBuildUTAH (DBU) project. Participants in the project included graduate students Keaton McCargo, Chris Putt, and ajc team members Kae Schwalber and Will Flanagan.

DBU is a fully immersive hands-on design-build program that allows Master of Architecture students to work at full-scale, in collaboration with the Navajo Nation in southeastern Utah. Every year, the University of Utah College of Architecture and Planning works with the Native communities of San Juan County to create unique and site/client specific designs. Students work and design alongside the client and live in Bluff for the entire semester. There have been over 23 projects completed and the work has been recognized nationally.
