Granite School District
ajc architects designed this school to be used by high achieving teachers who develop model instructional methods to be implemented throughout the District. The school was built as an addition to a former hospital complex that the School District had purchased and renovated into administrative offices. The addition was designed to integrate with the materials and style of the existing architecture. The architectural team worked through several cost models with a CM/GC before determining that tilt-up concrete with textured paint would provide the desired look in the most cost-effective way.
