Weber State University Outdoor Program and Welcome Center

This 16,900 SF project provides a new home for the Outdoor Recreation Program, paired with a new Welcome Center for Weber State University. The design intent and vision creates a highly visible campus facility which appropriately expresses Weber State University’s Outdoor Program value to the university and surrounding community.

The University has an opportunity, inherent in its remarkable physical setting, to take advantage of the views to the mountains. The overall design will capitalize on the location of the campus, in conjunction with a high level of student interests in outdoor pursuits. ajc’s design solution provides an exciting, site responsive solution for both the Outdoor Recreation Center and the new Weber State University Welcome Center.

ajc architects’ role is focused on providing WSU, DFCM and the Weber County community with services which include site analysis, space planning and programming, complete design services, construction administration and project close-out services.
