ajc architects provided design services for the Utah Pride Community Counseling Center located on South Main Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. The center’s newly remodeled three-level location provided this valuable community resource with additional space to function and grow as a community resource for Utah’s LGBTQ community. The center is now better able to serve and support its constituents with social connections, emotional support and mental health care.
The remodel and renovation effort included full demolition of the interior space to make way for a reception area, open office floor plan, private offices, conference space, counseling spaces, naturally lit community spaces, outdoor patio space, restrooms and storage space with minor upgrades to MEP systems.
ajc’s services included space planning, programming, permitting and code review and compliance, full design services, interior design, FF&E coordination and construction administration services.
