Architect | Code Compliance Specialist
Elledge joined ajc architects with 35 years of experience in the architectural field, 20 of those years as a licensed architect. Building code compliance is his specialty. He is also a strong production manager and project “trouble shooter.” Elledge thinks it’s important to remember, “Architecture is not just about one person; a lot of individuals create the product.”
He also feels strongly about his responsibility to “protect the client’s interest, both in aesthetics as well as function.” He’s a big believer is the old adage “form follows function.” He appreciates having been able to work on a variety of project types–having done everything from casinos to churches–he’s enjoyed them all. Elledge takes the time to be a mentor; he has held luncheon meetings designed to assist interns prepare to take their ARE and become licensed architects. Elledge brings an international perspective to his work, having graduated from high school in Bangkok, Thailand, and also having lived in the Philippines for over two years.
