National Park Service

The new Whale Overlook provides 60 lineal feet of sheltered space, allowing visitors unobstructed views to the Pacific Ocean and specifically the migratory paths of the Pacific Gray Whale. A portion of the sheltered space is enclosed with glass panels to protect from the prevailing northwesterly winds. The sheltered space accommodates 30 individuals and includes seating elements for both viewing and informal gatherings.
