OWATC Health Technology Center Programming

Ogden Weber Applied Technology College

ajc architects and SRG Partnership teamed to provide programming efforts on the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College’s Health Technology Building to be located on the main campus in Ogden, Utah. Guided by the project vision and the in-depth discussions with the user groups, the Programming Team and the Steering Committee developed an initial program of spaces, including classrooms, labs, auditorium, formal gathering spaces, as well as informal gathering areas, office and office support spaces, circulation space, and building support spaces. This initial program of spaces was refined to eliminate unnecessary redundancies, establish efficiencies in shared spaces, and to be in line with the available construction budget and will provide 70,000 gsf of new space, including 5,000 gsf of shelled space for future program area.
